Cool! Hopefully more programmer will put POSIX and i18n idea in mind while they are making their software. And I do think programmers are more aware of the fact their software is need more then an English interface. Alex Zou Min :
Thanks a lot, Alex, ha shao! I just tried a gaim patch which solves utf-8 encouding. (http://people.os.org.cn/zoudan/program/qq_gaim/0.0.2/gaim-0.55-0.56-all-in-one.patch.tgz) Anyway, it works for me, although I am still not sure who is the author of the patch. I will try to port the patch to the latest version of gaim and email the debian maintainer of gaim. -- Regards ZM
