install chiens font

HI:
I installed chinese font using apt-get, but when i start Xchat,,,still 
get worning msg about "missing charsets in Fontset creation"
"GB2312.1980-0"

How can fix this..by the way. when I run chinput, i get :
"Could't load /home/wuming/.pyinoput/usrphrase.tab"
"chinput................................................[ok]"
But chinput does not work.
how to fix this?
