As you can see below, the gtkrc config file is basically the same with
the error message.

If I launch the gtk applications from the panel, they cannot handle the
Chinese correctly. However, if they are launched from the console, they
can correctly display Chinese, including menu items, though they
sometimes spit the error messages as in my last post.
