I have downloaded mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-0.8-installer.tar.gz from 
the mozilla site. But when I uncompress it by
gunzip -dc moz*.tar.gz    | tar -xvf -
I get "gunzip: mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-0.8-installer.tar.gz: not in gzip format"
Alternativly, I try
tar zxvf moz*.tar.gz
the following error message comes up,

gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
---
What is wrong? Thanks.
