(Many thanks to Josip Rodin for both pointing them out, and providing

db (2:2.4.14-2.7.7.1.c) frozen unstable; urgency=high
* Due to changes of names in directories, which are not catched by
dpkg-source, the package build misbehaved. Added changing of dir
names on the fly before and after the generation of diff.gz
Horrible hack! but closes: #63112,
* Due to the change of arch (from i396 to all) for libdb2.6 packages
(now they are empty and are there only to replace the previous), I
noticed that the upload to frozen broke them up, stopping the
installation of the "new" ones, and leaving there the previous ones,
which is obviously wrong. This package generates a full set of libdb
packages and a full set of empty packages aiming to correct
dependences and replaces in the the older ones. Please install all
together in potato.
(side note: as new versions are not going installed, people are
submitting important bugs on the last one for bugs that are
supposedly fixed. I know that this circular situation should be
broken somether, but not in half/half).

files are still there (Closes: #61346).

removing user (at least current "userdel -r" already does the job).

* New upstream version: bug fixes.
* To the release manager: As you can see from changelog.gz, 2.1.6
and 2.1.5 were bug fix releases only. Among the fixed bugs are
two fixes for potential security holes, therefore I think this
release should go into potato:
- Fixed a bug that could allow someone with a lot of Zope zen
to change the apparent AUTHENTICATED_USER to access things
that they shouldn't.
- Fixed a potential security hole that could allow users with
permission to add Folders and edit DTML (and a who have a
lot of Zope zen) to get access to things that they shouldn't.
* Among the upstream bug fixes are our fixes from 2.1.4-3 and
2.1.4-2.

Applied patch from Randolph <tausq@debian.org> which catches

operation. (closes: #61825). Thanks Randolph for the patch and

autofs - A kernel-based automounter for Linux.

* If the user specifies that md5 passwords should be used, actually use
them when setting passwords. This was not being done because chpasswd
doesn't know how. Now I pass it an already crypted password. I think this
is important enough to go into potato because it tends to be a security
problem. base-config claims to be using md5 passwords; to not do so
gives the user a false sense of security. Closes: #62452
* Tweaked message about VT switching so it will make sense to mac folks.
Closes: #62829
* Just refer to "Debian", rather than "Debian GNU/Linux" or "Debian
Linux" in several places. Closes: #62544

netbase 3.18-2 -> 3.18-3 into dists/woody/main/binary-powerpc/base
netbase (3.18-3) frozen unstable; urgency=low
* frozen rationale: This fixes the somewhat important bug 62538, and
reduces the severity of the critical bug 60898 to normal. It also
introduces some new functionality into ifupdown, but does so in
a way that shouldn't affect existing functionality if the changes
are faulty. Various other bugs fixed too.
* /e/n/interfaces: Move sample to /usr/doc/netbase/examples, where it
can be looked at by new installees as well as upgraders. Make it not
a conffile. (Closes: Bug#62538)
* /e/n/interfaces: Add pre-up/post-down examples. (Closes: Bug#61266)
* /e/n/interfaces: If not present, autogenerate a commented out loopback
IPv4 definition in preinst.
* /e/n/options: Make this not a conffile, and autogenerate it from
preinst too.
* /etc/init.d/inetd: Die quietly if inetd isn't available.
* /etc/init.d/netwoking: Die quietly if ifup isn't available.
* /etc/init.d/networking: Correct check for / as an NFS mount.
* /etc/init.d/networking: Don't take networking down if there are
still any NFS/SMB mounts about. (Reduces Bug#60898 to normal)
* ifupdown: Add `provider' as an option for pon/poff in ppp method.
Thanks to Itai Zukerman for the patch. (Closes: Bug#62476)
* ifupdown: Make the IPX family a little tidier. Thanks to Chris
Pimlott for suggestions and a patch. (Closes: Bug#62644)
* ifupdown: Added some other options for IPv6.
* ifupdown: Act on all stanzas for an interface, not just the first.
(Closes: Bug#62628)
* README.Debian: Added. Mentions some stuff. (Closes: Bug#61616)

* The ``I'm an idiot'' release.
* preinst: Add a `mkdir -p /etc/network' so that cat'ing to
/etc/network/interfaces (eg) doesn't die horribly. Makes upgrades
from slink die. (Closes: Bug#62958)
