bitmap-mule - package to use bitmap in MULE or Emacs/mule.
xfonts-bitmap-mule - ETL 16dot bitmap font for X

xfonts-bitmap-mule 8.0+019991111-1 -> 8.0+019991115-1 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/x11
bitmap-mule (8.0+019991115-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New upstream release

clc-intercal - Compiler for the INTERCAL language
clc-intercal 0.05-1 -> 0.05-2 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
clc-intercal (0.05-2) unstable; urgency=low
  * Don't install oo, ick man page. This means oo, ick is undocumented,
    but works around the fact that the cache building in man-db dies
    horribly when confronted with a man page with a space in the name,
    rendering man-db useless (fixes: #50455).

console-data - Keymaps, fonts, charset maps, fallback tables for console-tools
console-data 1999.08.29-7 -> 1999.08.29-8 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/utils
console-data (1999.08.29-8) unstable; urgency=low
  * Abort config with an explicit error message if no keymaps were
    described for installation architecture, to prevent more obscrure
    message at a later time (Addresses: #50187);
  * Keymaps for alpha are now defined as an alias to i386. A more
    powerful mechanism is probably needed to get m68k/ppc arches right.
  * More i386 qwerty keymaps descriptions: Russia (Closes: #50041),
    Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukrain.
  * Slightly more code documentation in config script.
  * Added test to guard against possible comma in descriptions (got hit
    again while testing:( ).
  * Sort the entries in lexical order when building the list of choices.
  * Set all default flags if one is set, to ensure all questions are
    really asked when one needs to (Closes: #50028, #49662).
  * Added long descriptions for choices (Addresses: #49662).
  * Do not consider keymap filename when matching, when removing an
    obsolete keymap; this will make the @obsolete list smaller.
  * Reset country choice when layout is changed, and variant choice when
    country is changed (thanks Joey for signaling, related to #50285).
  * Listed lots of things in TODO.Debian.

cvs2html - create HTML versions of CVS logs
cvs2html 1.54-1 -> 1.55-1 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/web
cvs2html (1.55-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New upstream release.
  * debian/rules: Use grep-dctrl instead of the grep&cut hack.
  * debian/control: Standards-Version 3.1.1
    + debian/rules: /usr/doc -> /usr/share/doc
    + debian/control: added Build-Depends
    + debian/{rules,prerm,postinst}: /usr/doc transition

cvsweb - a CGI interface to your CVS repository
cvsweb 108.1 -> 1.79-1 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
cvsweb (3:1.79-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New upstream source, new maintainer.
  * Pristine source and a proper Debian revision number. Closes: #44189
  * To use pristine source, I cannot ship a jpeg in the package. I feel
    plaster our logo all over cvsweb pages is unnecessary anyway, so no logo
    is used by default.
  * Removed modified README, gone back to the pristine one.
  * Minor changes to control.
  * Updated copyright file. Include upstream source location.
  * /etc/cvsweb.conf _is_ a dpkg config file, dpkg never wipes out a users
    config file, and thus I think bug #25007 was user error. (Closes: #25007)
  * Don't ship cvsweb.conf with a CVSROOT set at all, as I think doing so
    could be a security risk if /usr/local/cvsroot is a cvs repository but
    not one you want made public.
  * Although I disagree that cvsweb's previous NMU didn't already fix the
    perl5 problem (it does depend on perl5), I applied the patch verbatim,
    to use dh_perl. Closes: #50022, one way or another..
  * Cleaned up debian/rules to my specs.
  * Include INSTALL in the .deb because it has some configuration info in it.
  * This package already depends on rcs, Closes: #33906, #32544, #41154
  * This package already depends on perl5, Closes: #41709, #41399, #41472
  * cvsweb no longer uses @restrict, it's new hiding mechanism is based on
    module names. This is inherently safe from playing with '//', '.', or
    '..' in the input path. Closes: #42132
  * No bugs left!

libxbase-perl - Perl module to access xbase files (optionally through DBI).
libxbase-perl 0.1410-1 -> 0.1550-1 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/interpreters
dbd-xbase (0.1550-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New upstream release.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.32 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.30 -> 0.2.32 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.32) unstable; urgency=low
  * Added a debconf-tiny package, which is a very stripped down debconf to be
    used on the base system. Debconf itself is 117+k, mainly because of all
    the frontends and docs. To make debconf-tiny, I:
    - removed all docs
    - removed all frontends except dialog and noninteractive
    - removed most stuff in /usr/bin
    - stripped out all POD docs and regular comments from all perl modules
    - All this got the package down to 27k compressed. 14k compressed of that
      was this changelog (It's all the fault of long changelog entries like
      this one!)
    - So, I started a new changelog for debconf-tiny, in which I will record
      changes specific to it. debconf-tiny is now 12k.
  * Removed /etc from package.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.32 -> 0.2.33 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.32 -> 0.2.33 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.33) unstable; urgency=low
  * Debconf scripts now automatically load their templates when they are
    invoked manually, if the .templates file is present in the same directory.
  * This makes debconf-loadtemplate basically obsolete, so I have removed it.
  * This means there is no need for a special test.pl in the source package.
  * And this also means it's now a lot easier to debug config scripts before
    putting them in a package. Documented this in the tutorial.
  * Feh, I have to keep the debconf-tiny changelog in sync with this one,
    or the package version isn't updated. Debhelper is too smart for its
    own good. Hacked around it. (If other people have this problem, I can
    add a flag to debhelper to handle this better..)
  * Documented everywhere that when reconfiguring debconf, --priority=medium
    is a good idea. Closes: #50225

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.33 -> 0.2.34 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.33 -> 0.2.34 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.34) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed 3 bugs reports that will get filed in the next 36 hours. The
    debconf bug betting pool is now open -- how many times will this be
    reported now that it's been fixed? :-p
  * Specifically, now that ConfModule doesn't send a return code for STOP,
    frontends can't try to read such a return code, or they hang.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.34 -> 0.2.35 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.34 -> 0.2.35 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.35) unstable; urgency=low
  * Update database files atomically, should fix the isolated empty db files
    that have been reported twice now.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.35 -> 0.2.36 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.35 -> 0.2.36 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.36) unstable; urgency=low
  * I've been persuaded that the Text frontend is the best default for
    new installs. This doesn't change the default for people who already
    have debconf installed.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.36 -> 0.2.37 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.36 -> 0.2.37 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.37) unstable; urgency=low
  * Client/frontend: be less aggressive when trying to guess a template
    filename. Fixes sslwrap purge problem.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.37 -> 0.2.38 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.37 -> 0.2.38 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.38) unstable; urgency=low
  * When processing what dialog returns after showing a multiselct, there
    may be trailing space after the last double quote. Nodified to handle
    that, Closes: #50471

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.38 -> 0.2.40 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.38 -> 0.2.40 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.40) unstable; urgency=low
  * dpkg-preconfig: Do a basic dependancy check before attempting to
    preconfigure a package. If the package depends on a newer version of
    debconf than is installed, do not preconfigure. (Closes: #50411, #50236)
    Should prevent any further breakages of the type we've seen before.
  * doc/tutorial.xml: If you use the multiselect data type, you should depend
    on debconf 0.2.26.
  * Version.pm: Added, to store the debconf version.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.40 -> 0.2.41 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.40 -> 0.2.41 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.41) unstable; urgency=low
  * Changed how text frontend's select element indicates which choice is
    default. It can now indicate when numbers are the default. Closes: #50751
  * Detect if libterm-readline-*-perl is being used. If so, allow
    interactive editing of the default, since that is supported. If not,
    display the default as part of the prompt. This makes things more
    consistent overall.
  * Added 'none of the above' option to [multi]select elements, so if you
    don't have libterm-readline-*-perl, you can still override the default
    and choose nothing. Unfortunatly, I still don't see a way to do that with
    string input elements..
  * Since w3m is currently broken, dump pages with lynx for now.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.41 -> 0.2.42 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.41 -> 0.2.42 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.42) unstable; urgency=low
  * Improved abbreviation finding algorythm for text select elements.
  * Cleaned up the show method of Element::Text::Select.
  * Element::Text::MultiSelect can now inherit from Element::Text::Select,
    making it much shorter.

debian-cd - Tools for building (Official) Debian CD set
debian-cd 2.1.90-1 -> 2.1.91 into dists/potato/contrib/binary-all/admin
debian-cd (2.1.91) unstable; urgency=low
  * Splitted the boot scripts for slink & potato. Updated the Makefile
    to handle this.
  * Updated the tasks/Debian_potato to use the new task-* packages.
  * New boot-i386 which does use resc2880.bin (the tecra image has
    been removed since it does no more exist in the latest boot-floppies).
  * Can now build CD with bootdisks taken from somewhere else than
    the mirror (allow you to use your own boot floppies, notably those
    built with translated documentation).
  * The documentation from the boot-floppies are now installed
    in /install and /doc by the scripts tools/$CODENAME/installtools.sh
    It was needed since the documentation of the boot-floppies does
    differ from one dist to another ...
  * Removed some cruft which is no more needed (master for potato,
    status.i386).
  * Updated README to explain that the mkhybrid package in Debian
    does support the -F option. Closes: #50141

debian-policy - Debian Policy Manual and related documents
packaging-manual - Debian Packaging Manual
debian-policy 3.1.0.0 -> 3.1.1.0 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/doc
packaging-manual 3.1.0.0 -> 3.1.1.0 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/doc
debian-policy (3.1.1.0) unstable; urgency=low

    description in Packaging manual (closes: #49901)

debmake - Debianizing Tool and automated binary generation
debmake 3.6.1 -> 3.6.1.0 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
debmake (3.6.1.0) unstable; urgency=low
  * [ Test release before 3.6.2 ].
  * Added a new -d option which disables generation of symlinks
    for the FHS doc transition (Bug #49880).
  * Standards-Version: 3.1.1.

debview - Emacs mode for viewing Debian packages
debview 1.7-3 -> 1.7-4 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/editors
debview (1.7-4) unstable; urgency=low
  * Removes debview site-lisp directories too. Really fixes Bug#48981, I
    hope.
  * Fix first half of xemacs21 problem (Bug#49929).

dejasearch - Frontend to Deja.com(tm)
dejasearch 1.6.9-1 -> 1.7.0-1 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/web
dejasearch (1.7.0-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New upstream version.
  * debian/control: Depend on libmime-base64-perl.
  * debian/control: Standards-Version: 3.1.1.

devscripts - Scripts to make the life of a Debian Package maintainer easier
devscripts 2.4.6 -> 2.5.0 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
devscripts (2.5.0) unstable; urgency=low
  * Add -m option to deb(r)sign to parallel the behaviour of
    dpkg-buildpackage; this is obviously desirable, and necessary to
  * make sure that debuild pays attention to any -m, -k, -p or -s options
    given to dpkg-buildpackage when calling debsign (should close #50281),
    and
  * make debsign sign the right .changes file! (closes: #50134)
  * Teach debdiff to fully handle potato version of dpkg -c output
  * Make debdiff able to handle .changes files as well as just single .deb
    files
  * Make debdiff Perl more idiomatic
  * Allow deb[ic] to handle multiple binary packages by parsing .changes
    file (closes: #33699)
  * Merged deb[ic] into one file, as their functionality is almost
    identical
  * Corrected a few more occurrences of manually parsing changelogs (which
    I should have done when correcting bug #43082)
  * Add Joey's plotchangelog program (closes: #50150)
  * Added a README.i18n file
  * Added James R. Van Zandt's debit script, merged into a single script
    with debi.

devscripts - Scripts to make the life of a Debian Package maintainer easier
devscripts 2.5.0 -> 2.5.1 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
devscripts (2.5.1) unstable; urgency=low
  * Cleaned up Makefile.am
  * Small correction to mustsetvar logic in uscan

devscripts - Scripts to make the life of a Debian Package maintainer easier
