* compiles with 2.2.x kernels
* important bugfixes for parallel port floppy tape drives
and Ditto Max 2GB
* clarify difference between 2.2.x kernel ftape driver and this
package in package description; basically rewritten description
* restrict architecture to i386 and alpha; if I forgot a valid
ftape architecture please complain ;-)
* suggest kernel-package which makes compiling modules much easier
* we don't produce precompiled modules for the different kernel
versions anymore; at least not until we are closer to release ;-)
* updated copyright information and corrected a typo
* stole README.Debian from pcmcia packages
* removed some cruft files from the debian directory
* added check for kmod (> 2.1.x kernels) in the module.postinst
* added upstream examples for module insertion and removal
