Description:
tcpquota - A dialout monitoring package.
Changes:
tcpquota (1.6.13-4) unstable contrib; urgency=low
.
* Moved some hardcoded CCW greets/info/link-update functions to it's own
separate files, so that any admin 'easily' (if they know perl, that is)
can add there own stuff...
* Now the daemon opens the firewall, not the 'openhost/openfw' scripts
Makes the whole thing more 'secure', the daemon know that it has opened
the firewall! The 'openhost/openfw' tell the daemon to open/close the
firewall by setting a [123] in a new column in the masq table in the
database, which the daemon scanns every turn in the wait loop...
* Let us be able to open a specified host (other than our own) for 'Net
access on the admin account
* 'Fake' the name the daemon and the 'openhost' programs are running as,
easier to find in a 'ps'...
* Made it possible to add/remove/set quota points etc from the command
line, instead of using the menu system ('tcpquotaadmin')...
* Make sure the daemon cleans the firewall entries when or if it crashes!
* More verbose output, easier for novises to understand
* Wrote the manual for 'tcpquotatop'
* The average bug fixes... Don't forget these... :)
* Fixing bug 'Bug#21034: tcpquota: depends on non-existent libmsql1',
we realy only depend on 'msqlperl', THAT in turn depends on libmsql?, but
that's not our problem...
