  * kill.c, mksignames.c, Makefile: applied patch from Eric Delaunay
    	<delaunay@lix.polytechnique.fr> to allow proper signal number
    	detection under non-i386 linux.  Slightly modified to fix off by
    	one error.
  * script.1: tell people how to strip control characters out.
  	Fixes Bug#25156.


data-dumper - Store and retrieve perl data structures
data-dumper 2.09-0 -> 2.09-1 into dists/slink/main/binary-powerpc/base
data-dumper (2.09-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * Maintainer release of upstream update.  Please, people, let's not
    be quite so quick to do NMUs---there should at least be a bug
    filed first, I think


debhelper  - helper programs for debian/rules

  * Added a --same-arch flag, that is useful in the rare case when you have
    a package that builds only for 1 architecture, as part of a multi-part,
    multi-architecture source package. (Ie, netscape-dmotif).
  * Modified dh_installinit -r so it does start the daemon on the initial
    install (#26680).

developers-reference - Debian Developer's Reference

  * Fix instructions for new maintainers, incorporating the actual text
    sent to prospective new maintainers.  Improve this text a bit for
    readability, coverage, and organization.  Significant changes were
    patched back to the new-maintainers group, if they care to use
    them. (closes Bug#26948)
  * Add an introductory "Scope" chapter which helps delineate what should
    and should not be included in this Reference.
  * Add a new chapter, "Whirlwind Tour of Debian Maintainer Tools".  Let
    me know what useful tools I forgot -- remember, Debian-specific
    maintainer tools only!
  * Add discussion of the "experimental" distribution, culled from an email
    from Guy Maor on debian-devel.
  * Incorporated suggestions from Branden Robinson (closes Bug#27211).
  * Point to doc-debian's mailing list instructions where relevant.
  * Made references to online documentation into URLs where possible.
  * Little corrections here and there.
  * add a Makefile for use in the DDP manual hierarchy
  * debian/rules: comment out my 'source-depends' hack; it's just slowing
    things down

jadetex    - LaTeX macros for SGML to DVI/PS conversion with Jade

  * reintroduced 'cooked' directory since it is upstream from 'cooked',
    install t3enc.def, hypertex.def, hpdftex.def, and hyperref.sty into
    /etc/texmf/jadetex/, aka /usr/lib/texmf/tex/jadetex/config/, because
    it is needed in the current tetex environment
  * postinst: check that the jadetex.fmt and pdfjadetex.fmt files were
    actually generated, since texconfig doesn't exit with non-zero status
    on failure.  Consider this a failure condition.  It has been
    determined that this is in fact a limitiation of the upstream
    'texconfig' system employed.  The hacky patch I added here to the
    postinst sould probably be removed for the freeze; for now it's
    probably a good way to chase down problems (closes Bug#25592, Bug#25695)
  * add a few bits of documentation off the net; talk about the TeX
    capacity exceeded issue in /usr/doc/jadetex/README.capacity_exceeded
    (addressing but not quite closing Bug#24307)
  * debian/README: how to use jadetex, 3 second overview; refer to other
    READMEs now shipped
  * jadetextables.html: removed ^Ms from HTML
  * debian/copyright: update ftp location
  * debian/rules: add '-isp' to dpkg-gencontrol
  * debian/rules: explicit dependancy on /bin/bash, since curly braces are
    used

    TeX capacity exceeded.

  * Removed XCircuit.ad from the Imakefile, leaving the installation
  *      of this file to the rules file: fixes 24856


zircon     - Powerful X Internet Relay Chat client
