New Debian sparc Packages



These sparc packages were installed into the Debian hierarchy in the
last week:

----- Low Urgency Packages --------------

alien      - Install Red Hat and Slackware Packages with dpkg.
alien 5.19 -> 5.20 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/admin
alien (5.20) unstable; urgency=low
  * added --description= flag, that lets the description of slackware
    packages be set.
  * Put packages converted to .deb format into a section called "alien".
  * s/kite.ml.org/kitenet.net/g


bug        - Bug Reporting Tool interfacing with the Bug Tracking System
bug 2.95 -> 3.0.0 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/utils
bug (3.0.0) unstable; urgency=low
  * Added '-f' option to search whose package a file is, fixes #8632.
    Manpage updated.
  * Added instructions of how to submit extra information about
    the bug, fixes bug #9937.
  * If no package name specified, show info about pseudo-packages and
    ask the user, fixes bug #10661.
  * Fixed a bug when $EDITOR or $VISUAL has a space, fixes #14866, and
    should fix #10759.
  * Modified `-p' to make bug not invoke the editor,
    should fix bug #12222 and #14347.
  * Show what it's doing, fixes bug #11097.
  * Added --help,-h option; changed previous -h to -H, fixes bug #14741.
  * Tries to unlink the temporary file before using it.


cbb        - The Check-Book Balancer - a Quicken clone
cbb 0.73-3 -> 0.73-4 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/misc
cbb (0.73-4) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed a bug in balance.tcl (an error would occur when triple-clicking
    in the balance window). Fixes bug #14994. Patch forwarded upstream.


debhelper  - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 0.23 -> 0.24 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/utils
debhelper (0.24) unstable; urgency=low
  * dh_clean: no longer clean up empty (0 byte) files (#15240).

  * dh_compress: was not reading debian/compress file - fixed.

  * dh_installdirs: Do not create usr/doc/$PACKAGE directory. Bug #15498

    the dh_* programs (#15497).
  * dh_du.1: no, this is not really the dh_md5sums man page (#15499).


doc-debian - Debian Manual, FAQ and other documents
doc-debian 1.5-0 -> 1.5.0 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/doc
doc-debian (1.5.0) unstable; urgency=low
  * Made self-consistent: local Debian mirror not required anymore.
  * Installed /usr/doc/<package>/changelog.gz
  * Removed FAQ/tweaked/* from the source.
  * Cleaned up debian/rules.
  * Non-maintainer release.


dpkg-repack - attempts to put an unpacked .deb file back together
dpkg-repack 0.9 -> 0.10 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/admin

  * Don't include file list file in package. (Removes "ontained list as info
    file" error from dpkg when you install dpkg-repacked packages.


info2www   - Read Info files with a WWW browser
info2www 1.2.2.9-9 -> 1.2.2.9-10 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/doc
info2www (1.2.2.9-10) unstable; urgency=low
  * new Debian maintainer
  * new "Debian" style


manpages-it - Contains a collection of italian man pages
manpages-it 0.1b-2 -> 0.2.4-1 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/doc
italian-manpages (0.2.4-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New postinst: updates /etc/manpath.config and creates catman
     directories. The reverse in prerm.
  * cleaned rules and un-debstd-ized.
  * Updated to Standards-Version 2.3.0.1.
  * New upstream release, including 240 pages


jadetex    - JADE DSSSL TeX backend macros
jadetex 0.53-1 -> 0.53-3 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/tex
jadetex (0.53-3) unstable; urgency=low
  * now in main again, because copyright of hyperref is now DFSG compliant


jargon     - The definitive compendium of hacker slang.
jargon 4.0.0-2 -> 4.0.0-3 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/doc
jargon (4.0.0-3) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed link in jargon.html to actually point to the resources page, and
  not the whole jargon file.
  * Added jargon lookup script provided by Mark Baker - thanks Mark!
  (Bug#10479)
  * Compressed changelog.Debian -- Complies with Standards version 2.3.0.1


quake-lib-stub - Use dos quake files with linux quake
quake-lib-stub 1.4 -> 1.5 into hamm/non-free/binary-all/games
quake-lib-stub (1.5) unstable; urgency=low
  * Use debhelper.
  * Some modifications to get rid of /var/lib/games/quake.


quake-lib  - shareware episode 1 for Quake.
quake-lib 1.06-3 -> 1.06-4 into hamm/non-free/binary-all/games
quake-lib (1.06-4) unstable; urgency=low
  * Don't set up the symlinks in /var anymore.
  * Install a /etc/quake.conf, which helps keep backwards compatabily to
    [sx]quake packages that expected to find stuff in /var before.
  * Use debhelper.


spamdb     - Fully automated building and maintaining of a Blacklist
spamdb 0.1 -> 0.2 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/mail
spamdb (0.2) unstable; urgency=low
  * Remove predep on ed.
