 slang0.99.34-dev - S-Lang libc5 backward compatibility development kit
 slang0.99.38 - The S-Lang programming library, shared library for use with libc6
 slang0.99.38-dev - The S-Lang programming library, development kit for use with libc
Changes:
 slang (0.99.38-2.4) unstable; urgency=low (high for developers using S-lang)
 .
   * For use in hamm. Thanks to David Engel and Chris Fearnley for their
     input.
   * Included "/etc/terminfo" in the terminfo search path (Terminfo_Dirs in
     src/sltermin.c).
   * Build both libc6 and libc5 compatibility packages from single source
     package.
   * Modified descriptions; hopefully, this will minimize confusion.
   * libc6 packages:
     * For running and building libc6 binaries (strongly preferred for hamm).
     * No backward compatibility links necessary.
     * Both the package names and the soname have been bumped to 38
       (there is no real "keeper of the so-name" for S-Lang yet; the upstream
       author is expected to take this role soon).
     * Thus, libc5 and libc6 S-Lang can be distinguished from the package
       names, making a 'g'-in-the-name hack unnecessary
     * -dev package provides virtual package 'slang-dev6' to allow the libc5
       and libc6 dev packages to be installed simultaneously.
   * libc5 packages:
     * For backward compatibility with Debian 1.3. Priority: extra, so these
       only get installed when needed or explicitly requested.
     * Uses "alt(dev)" locations: shared library in /usr/lib/libc5-compat,
       development stuff in /usr/i486-linuxlibc1/* .
     * Fixed "it now points to" message in postinst.
   * Linked libslang.so against libc too, just to be sure.
