Date: 23 Feb 97 12:25:49 UT
Format: 1.5
Distribution: unstable
Binary: cfingerd
Source: cfingerd
Architecture: source i386
Version: 1.3.2-1
Maintainer: Martin Schulze <joey@infodrom.north.de>
Description: Configurable and secure finger daemon
This is a free and secure finger daemon replacement for
standard finger daemons such as GNU fingerd, or MIT fingerd.
Cfingerd can enable/disable finger service to individual users,
rather than to all users on a given host. Cfingerd is able to
respond to a finger request to a specified user by running a shell
script (e.g., finger doorbell@mysite.mydomain might cause a sound
file to be sent) rather than just a plain text file.
Priority: Routine
Files:

Changes:
 * New upstream release
 * Converted into new packaging scheme
 * Removed -m486 in all Makefiles,
 * The internal search.*@ won't send out the whole GCOS field
 * Removed investigation of the hostname within Configure script
