Source: libg++27
Binary: libg++27
Architecture: source i386
Version: 2.7.2.1-1
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: joost witteveen <joost@rulcmc.leidenuniv.nl>
Description:
 libg++27 - The GNU C++ libraries (ELF version).
Changes:
 libg++27 (2.7.2.1-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Uploaded NOT by normal maintainer. If things go OK (i.e., this release
     doesn't wipe too many people's harddisks), I would like to offer to
     take over this package. (this upload: joostje@debian.org)
   * upgraded to upstream currently stable.
     This fixes the "cout<<double" problem with libc-5.4.7 + older libg++.
   * As I'm not the normal debian maintainer for this package, could
     people PLEASE try this out? I didn't make blunders, it really should
     go into stable, but I'd like other people to test this first (bo).
   * using new source packaging scheme.
   * removed a "strip /usr/lib/libg++.so.27.1.$(h)" from debian.rules.
   * Some c++ binaries need to be recompiled, others appear to be OK.
     I tried to test as many libg++ dependant packages as I could,
     and listed the one that broke in the in the conflicts, but there
     may be others that break too.
     Planning to mail all maintainers of libg++ dependant packages.
