Hi, i have posted my proposal as https://wiki.debian.org/VerifyISOImage for testing by debian-user and it turned out that the examples need some correction. I will post a new version of the FAQ proposal and after two days of no new problem reports. Further shellcheck found a minor problem in script check_debian_iso which i fixed in a new version.
