Bug#787382: cdimage.debian.org: USB boot fails to display partition > Fails to LIVE install Debian
Package: cdimage.debian.org
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation? Unknown, had same issue past 2-3 years. every debian version so far.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)? I boot debian from either syslinux 4/6 or grub4dos from standard Hybrid ISO image extracted to USB secondary partition(fat32), bootloaders residenting at first partition (fat16).
* What was the outcome of this action? Debian live (standard isolinux.cfg, plus commands live-media-path= & ...try-usb=true), reboots to debian live unabled to be installed from LIVE system as actual secondary fat32 is hidden from debian and all other partitions are mounted correctly.
* What outcome did you expect instead? All USB partitions to be visible for used from debian LIVE system (including install ability).
