Hi,

it is embarrassing to see the own bugs mummified since a
full year. You should rather enjoy the fresh and juicy bugs
of version 1.3.6.pl01.

Funnily nobody complains that the wrong GPT header checksum
would prevent booting from USB stick via EFI.
Doesn't (U)EFI check ? Do all tested machines boot via the
EFI partition entry in the MBR partition table ?

The Debian amd64 ISO is full of hints and direction signs.
The EFI boot image (a FAT filesystem) is even advertised by
an Apple Partition Map entry as HFS+ partition.
So one can hardly tell which route was taken by the firmware.
