That bit of the error may be the real cause -- if the DVD file is just
too big for the Microsoft program, then all the rest of the output may
well be drivel.

Alternatively, it is possible that the test virus string that's
contained in a file in the clamav package's doc directory (which is
presumably on the DVD) could have been found, but one would hope that
they would describe the virus found in that case.

If they really are responding to their own failure to handle larger
files by recommending deletion, then that really is pathetic.
