I am trying to build my own Lenny ISO images using Debian-CD. I am following the instructions from http://wiki.debian.org/DebianCustomCD. 1)I downloaded debian-installer source via apt-get and used make build-cdrom_isolinux.
2)I
copied the pool directory of my existing Lenny DVD into a directory and
used apt-ftparchive as per the instruction on the Debian-CD wiki page.
( I also copied dists, tools, docs, README.html) 3)I followed the instructions in /etc/share/debian-cd/README to setup debian-cd. 4)I used easy-build.sh to build the CD-ROM iso images. When I run the iso i get the following error:
"No
kernel modules found. This probably is due to a mismatch between the
kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel available
in the archive."
I am not able to figure out what I am doing wrong here :( Would copying all
the udebs from installer/build/apt.udeb/
cache/archive into the pool directory fix this? I have not made any custom udebs, i just downloaded d-i via apt and built it.
