Very good... provided that the software license is DFSG-compliant
(http://www.debian.org/social_contract#guidelines) and there are interested
parties to package it, then it could be possibly uploaded.

I suggest to prepare your debian packages [1] and ask for a review at
debian-mentors at lists.debian.org. Interested debian developers (if any)
could review and eventually upload it to the official archive.
