Dear readers,
The first release of debimg is available now: 0.0.1
Get the tarball: http://users.alioth.debian.org/~jak-guest/debimg_0.0.1.tar.gz
Clone git repo: git://git.debian.org/git/users/jak-guest/debimg.git
Browse the repo: http://git.debian.org/?p=users/jak-guest/debimg.git
This is the first release on the way to debimg 0.1, a new software developed by
me, and designed to replace debian-cd.
There are no packages yet, but 0.1 will be packaged. The code is just not
working yet in a packaged form.
The next release, 0.0.2, should follow in the next days. It will cleanup and
freeze the format of debimg.cfg for the 0.1 release.
For further information, see http://wiki.debian.org/debimg or the project page
at jak-linux.org: http://jak-linux.org/projects/debimg/
There is also a server providing daily-built netinst images of testing at
http://jak-linux.org/cdimage/daily-builds/ - they can be downloaded using Jigdo.
I do not plan to release many 0.0.x releases, as my goal is to release 0.1 this
month.
