Hi,
in their current form, the PowerPC CD images are not bootable on PReP
machines. However, mkhybrid/mkisofs supports adding PReP boot image
files through the -prep-boot option, it would be nice if at least
vmlinuz-prep.initrd could be enabled this way.
Also, it would be nice if the kernel contained the correct command
line automatically. This is possible with the 2.6.8-3 kernel-image
packages for PowerPC that I just uploaded; replacing /dev/sda2 with
/dev/ram0 near the start of vmlinuz-prep.initrd is sufficient.
Regards, Jens.
