Are you saying that the CD did not work for you and that you expect that this is because of its size? If you _are_ saying that, your problems is more likely that you are using an image for the wrong architecture. IA64 images are _not_ suitable for systems with and AMD64 processor or an Intel EM64t processor. For those you need AMD64 images.
