serious problem trying to boot from the testing dvds

Hi,

just downloaded those images:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/i386/jigdo-dvd/
dated as 22-May-2006 03:00.
burned em to disk and booted the first one. after the language
selection it tells me he couldnt find a cdrom (well...), so I checked
the syslog.. it keeps telling me some nasty stuff:

hw-detect: Missing modules ´ide-mod, ide-probe-mod,ide-detect,ide-floppy´

there were no matching files in the /lib/modules/.../kernel/drivers/ide.
So I'm rather unsure about what to do with this... obviously there is
some serious problem about missing kernel modules.
I also tried booting from the 'unofficial' dvd #1. that one has those
needed modules but the image is missing the last 300MB (where
mkreiserfs and network configuration are placed...)
the point is that I cant use those modules as I cant mount the
unofficial dvd into the running official debian-installer setup..

another idea... floppy... 2 problems: ide-floppy was not loaded...
nice... the other problem: i dont have a floppy drive for my thinkpad.

next idea of mine was concerning network drivers... the only interface
he detects is the loopback interface (neither eth0 nor eth1). eth0
would be needing tg3 package and eth1 would be ipw2200...

is there ANY solution out of this?

besides: i also tried the netinst cd and the businesscard netinst...
they've got EXACTLY the same problem...
