These requests have been arriving at irregular intervals since March
2003; they always have wording identical to the above, sometimes with a
few extra bits (very little variation), and various messages have cited
exactly the same type of motherboard with a claimed installation problem
but come from totally different names and addresses.
It's clearly time to consider them spam, although I'm curious what the
point is ...
