hwclock sc420 linux26

Hi,

I think, debian-cd was the wrong list for your question,
debian-boot is correct for all problems with the installer.
Anyway, try switching off acpi and the kernel should boot,
but hyper-threading will be switched off as well. Better:
A colleague was successful by replacing 'rtc' with 'genrtc'
in /etc/modutils/arch/i386 (and running update-modules) and
running hwclockfirst.sh after modutils (S21 instead of S18).
Maybe this should be the default in Debian?

Cheers, WB
