but for this, installer must support reiserfs and mkreiserfs
too ... 
but it is still good idea, because 2.4 supports more hardware,
for example usb mouse and keyboard, some new network cards,
and more. I think in installing process there must be full
kernel with support for many hardware, for example 2.4.18 vanilla
