Thanks...it is now running...
Disturbing finding:
Upon looking into the errors that I am getting with the md5sums,
I found that some packages are not listed in
...dists/main/binary-i386/Packages (dated Dec 14)
while they ARE listed in /indices/Packages-Master-i386.gz (dated nov-26)
Example:
explorer_0.72-2.1.deb
is in my archive, and in /indices
but not in ..../Packages ; therefore my md5sums run fails
geomview-contrib_1.6.1.9-5.deb
is NOT in Packages-Master-i386.gz
it is in .../Packages; AND I DONT HAVE IT IN MY ARCHIVE...
AND IT IS NOT ON THE PRIMARY MIRROR DEBIAN.MIDCO.NET. NOR IS
IT ON FTP.DEBIAN.ORG
Now, I don't give a squat about geomview-contrib, but this does
raise a couple of questions:
1. Why is the /debian/indices so far out of date
2. Why does /debian/dists/slink/main/binary-i386/Packages
indicate a package that is not in the archive
(Steve, these are not questions for you,
I am just talking to the sky)
mo,laterr...

Everyone who comes in here wants three things:
1. They want it quick.
2. They want it good.
3. They want it cheap.
I tell 'em to pick two and call me back.
