Re: Bug#628383: [kfreebsd-*] test failure: test-secmem

severity 628383 important
thanks

We now know that this test failure only happens on kfreebsd-9.

kfreebsd-10, which will be released with Jessie, allows unprivileged
users to mlock() memory, and libgnome-keyring will work fine there.
Christoph was able to binNMU the package from a kfreebsd-10 machine
where the testsuite passed.

The buildds will not have kfreebsd-10 until release, so if there is
going to be another upload, I suggest the maintainers allow the test to
fail, as a known build issue - perhaps using Petr's patch.

The actual built package will work as intended on an actual Jessie
kernel, so I'm downgrading the bug to let it migrate now.

Thanks,
Regards,
