I don't have any immediate plans to do it, no.  But never say never :-)

As you noticed, the alternative would be to either maintain stuff
no longer used in Linux, or port systemd, which would probably stay specific
to Debian/kFreeBSD.  A set of wrappers might be simpler.

If you cut off my head, what would I say?  Me and my head, or me and my body?
