Bug#697042: syslog-ng: should use ttyva not tty10 as virtual console on kfreebsd
Package: syslog-ng
Version: 3.3.5-2
Severity: normal
Hi!
On kfreebsd I'm seeing lots of
Dec 30 07:09:55 hel syslog-ng[18791]: Error opening file for writing; filename='/dev/tty10', error='Operation not supported (45)'
Dec 30 07:09:55 hel syslog-ng[18791]: Error opening file for writing; filename='/dev/tty10', error='Operation not supported (45)'
Dec 30 07:09:55 hel syslog-ng[18791]: Error opening file for writing; filename='/dev/tty10', error='Operation not supported (45)'
in my syslog. this is because syslog-ng.con mentions
# Virtual console.
#
destination d_console_all { file("/dev/tty10"); }
while on kfreebsd you probably want ttyva not tty10
Regards
Christoph
