This is OT, I guess, but I couldn't find a better place. I have seen people ask about making a FreeBSD/kLinux. The answer seems always that it would be to hard to do. Does the Linux kernel have some special dependency on the GNU userland? I'd appreciate any direction to a better forum for discussion of this, or relevant technical docs.
