The upstream bug report has testcases that are fixed by GCC 4.7.1, yet
this problem is still triggered by bsd_mouse.c (and only with -O2)
unless the workaround is used.
Both testcases still fail on GCC 4.6.3; one of them only fails if
compiled with -O2, and the other only with -O3. So it seems to depend
what the source gets optimised into.
