Bug#687224: freebsd-nfs-server: by default nfsd only servse udp mount_nfs only tries tcp
Package: freebsd-nfs-server
Version: 9.0+ds1-7
Severity: normal
Hi!
By default kfreebsd nfsd serves 4 UDP clients (accoring to the
manpage) and doesn't support tcp. the mount_nfs however seems to be
only ever trying to mount via tcp (or at least takes a long time until
considering udp trying tcp several times. I think it's a bit sad that
kfreebsd serves a NFS server/client pair that doesn't interoperate by
default.
Regards
Christoph
