Re: Installing Grub on new squeeze vm failed



Did that, and it worked ok; it generated grub.cfg and found both the kernel and module directory. So can I safely "Continue without boot loader" - skip to the next step in the installation?

Could you open a terminal and run update-grub manually?  From the
/target hierrachy, e.g.

$ chroot /target update-grub
