I'd like to point out that Arno Töll did some research on what iSCSI
implementations could be useful on Debian GNU/kFreeBSD. Arno finally
concluded that istgt was the best option and packaged it:

Another possibility would be merging the patches from FreeBSD ports
collection into upstream of scsitarget-dkms (they're too big and
intrusive for the Debian package IMHO). But it isn't clear if FreeBSD
developers would push their further changes upstream. istgt looks
like the safest bet.
