As a small advertisement: This is hereby complete [1].

I ported and packaged istgt to kfreebsd which seems to work fine in
Wheezy as of today. A binary package for kfreebsd-amd64 is available on
[2], people interested in the source package may prefer

dget http://daemonkeeper.net/repository/istgt_0.4~20110529-1.dsc

As I stated publicly before, I consider this a proof of concept,
therefore I don't ask for an upload to unstable (but experimental at
most), as I'm asking for help by a co-maintainer with good FreeBSD
knowledge willing to assist me. However I appreciate when people are
testing this package and giving me feedback on it.

As far as I know this is, up to now, the only possibility to run a iSCSI
target for Debian kFreeBSD. One more note: The package builds fine on
Linux as well, hence I set "architecture: any" but I didn't even test it
on Linux. That said the package description is not precise therefore.

Sorry for spamming the list, but I guess that's fair enough for this
purpose.
