vlc: FTBFS (kfreebsd-i386) Segmentation fault (core dumped) ../bin/vlc-cache-gen .



Bringing the bsd team into the loop here.

vlc is currently involved in the libnotify 0.7 transition, so a timely fix would
be appreciated.
