Bug#502216: freebsd5-buildutils: freebsd-mtree does not work correctly

Package: freebsd5-buildutils
Version: 5.4-4
Severity: important

freebsd-mtree fails to understand mtree files written in ASCII and when
asked to give a mtree outputs numerical values:

% freebsd-mtree -c | head
#	   user: (null)
#	machine: weetamoe
#	   tree: /home/manu
#	   date: Tue Oct 14 17:24:47 2008

# .
/set type=file uid=1000 gid=1000 mode=0644 nlink=1
\056            type=dir mode=0755 nlink=99 size=12288 time=1223997543.0
    \056\106\105\110\102\107\137\061\071\066\071\064\064\070\063\067\062\056\160\156\147 \
                size=13682209 time=1222424122.0

Note: This problem is also present in unstable and testing's
freebsd-buildutils 7.0-2.
