warning: libbsd_0.0-2 seriously breaks net-tools
Hi,
the just uploaded libbsd_0.0-2 (currently in NEW) dropped
link_addr and link_ntoa functions.
They are referenced within ifconfig and route.
!!! You can lost ability to configure networks interfaces !!!
These functions are also provided by libfreebsd0,
but under different symbol names:
link_addr@@LIBFREEBSD_0.0, link_ntoa@@LIBFREEBSD_0.0
It is needed to built and upload freebsd-utils (7.0-2)
for both kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64,
they have to be built against old libbsd 0.0-1.2+r1710,
as the new one also changed <bsd/bsd.h>, so compile fails now.
Do not update your libbsd0 until you have installed
net-tools using link_addr() and link_ntoa() from libfreebsd0.
