Networking structure

In my running to understand the structure of Debian GNU/kFreeBSD some
doubts appeared to me, like the networking proccess. I mean, FreeBSD
networking is managed in a completly different way than in Debian
GNU/Linux. How network system works on kfreebsd? How the
/etc/network/interfaces works under kfreebsd? The rc.conf exist in
kfreebsd?
