Yes, that's what I've been doing. I've tried to work on glibc, and
pretty much concluded it's not something _I_ want to do. So I've been
waiting on others to fix it. After about 18 months now, there's little
change.

So someone fixed the bug in the DNS resolver? Without it "full-featured"
is kind of hard to believe, since all kinds of packages are unusable.
(Think about email, for example...)
If it were really stable and usable, I'd be installing servers with it
now. I'd love to. But it isn't.
