* Almost anything that looks at /proc won't work. It would be a good idea to avoid that in code that is intended to be common to all archs. FYI: on netbsd, "mount -t proc -o linux procfs /proc" will provide a portion of linux-compatible procfs (whatever parts people have found are Required for running linux software in emulation mode.)
