Yes.  Unfortunately (Marcel the person recently joining FreeBSD
to work on the Linux ABI/ports) has chosen to use RedHat's rpm
format for the Ports Collection.  I do have a nearly complete port
of dpkg for FreeBSD though laying around somewhere.  Nothing's
stopping us from providing a better alternative.
