I am testing systemd-boot on Trixie with debian-13.2.0-amd64-netinst.iso only (i.e. no mirrors). In such cases debian-installer fails to complete, or more specifically systemd-boot-installer.udeb fails, because systemd-boot.deb is not available. Would it be possible to have systemd-boot.deb and its dependenciesincluded in netinst.iso? Ideally for Trixie's next point release.systemd-boot packages are also missing in DVD-1 images which are
supposed to allow full offline install.I agree that having systemd-boot packages in netinst images would be convenient for offline testing, even though these images are primarily intended to be used with a network mirror. Having to download a DVD image or set up network for a quick test is a bit heavy.
If systemd-boot packages are not going to be included in netinst images, then maybe systemd-boot-installer should be disabled or display a user-friendly message if systemd-boot is not available in apt sources in order to avoid installation failure ?
