I used the following installation media:

6fba6fbf3ecfe38ec7f667f5da658df2 debian-live-7.2-amd64-xfce-desktop.iso

If XFS volumes are used during the installation the xfsprogs package is not
installed on the target system.

This presents a problem as a filesystem check is forced on the first boot, but
the necessary binary is not installed. This renders the installed system
unusable.

This report is quite old.
Tests with Trixie and recent testing images show, that this issue has been fixed in the meantime:

1.
With usual installation images (non-live), using the debian-installer leads to xfsprogs being installed.

2.
With a live image, using the debian-installer leads to xfsprogs to be installed.

3.
With a live image, using the Calamares installer leads to xfsprogs being installed.

So, I close this bugreport.
Thanks for reporting anyway!
