Dear maintainer,
In Trixie graphic installer, selecting the "Canadian Multilingual" keyboard layout fails with a user-visible error, and subsequent attempts to select any keyboard layout fail with the same errors on screen and in syslog. 

syslog: "Error loading new keyboard description".
In Trixie text installer, selecting the Canadian Multilingual keyboard silently fails, and subsequent attempts to select any keyboard layout silently fail too. 

(It does not fail in Bookworm installer.)
