Bug#1110759: the boot menu does not display during installation when using UEFI

Forwarding Leonardo's reply to the bug report and debian-cd list.

What's next ? Reassign to grub-efi-amd64, or include the workaround in installation images grub.cfg ?

Yes, exactly as you described: the boot menu is invisible but remains
functional. Through blind selection (using keyboard navigation), I
was able to launch and complete the installation successfully.

After testing, I confirm this is a duplicate of the issues referenced
(#1088356 and #1110446). The workaround proposed in [3]
(https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?65503#comment2) resolves the problem
a and wait for a fixs expected.

When testing both netinst and dlbd (double layer Blu-ray) media, the
boot menu does not display during installation when using UEFI mode with
Secure Boot enabled. The menu is only displayed when using the BIOS
(legacy) boot option.

Do you mean that the boot menu was invisible but functioning and could
launch the installation ? If yes, can you check if it is a duplicate of
#1088356 [1] and #1110446 [2] and the workaroud proposed in [3] works
for you ?
