Re: Please integrate MD5SUM into ISO files



bug reporting on Debian seems too difficult with GMail;
Debian lacks modern bug reporting tools such as BugZilla or Red-mine or Gitea.
So please feel free to file a bug instead of me.

And no, there are no SHA512 tools for ISOs; and it doesn't matter
much, because MD5 when used as a checksum tool is no worse than CRC128
(cyclic redundancy check, 128-bit), or even stronger. SHA-512 will not
make it much stronger, but will make it much slower.
