dual boot Windows 11 and Debian 12 on arm64 architecture

Greetings,

Have a Windows 11 Home laptop, Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus CPU, arm64.

Want to dual boot Debian 12, arm64 architecture on this system.

BIOS version 2.06.

Created a startup DVD from  debian-12.10.0-arm64-DVD-1.iso.

Shrinked the partition on Windows to allow for the Debian 12 installation.

Boot Mode in BIOS is UEFI.

Disabled secure boot in BIOS, disabled fast boot as well.

When selecting to boot from startup DVD, shows the GNU GRUB menu options, install etc, then when selecting it looks like it fails (reboots).

It shows the acer logo (this is an acer system), then it loops to Welcome to GRUB, with the install options..

How can I get passed the GRUB failures on this system?

Where are the GRUB logs?

Can select ‘e’ and ‘c’ to poke around the BASH-like commands.

Would like to start running things manually from GRUB> prompt, and look at the failures, if anybody has some pointers on how to do this?

Anybody knows if older versions may work so I can try them? Just started this arm64 project.

Thank you very much.
