Bug#1098883: debian-installer: d-i should warn if ESP is a logical volume within LVM
Package: debian-installer
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
it would be great if d-i would advise users that an ESP created as a
logical volume within LVM will (likely?) not be accessible to the UEFI.
I recently had this issue, and it caused me quite some effort to
understand why Grub couldn't properly register itself in UEFI -- it
was due to the above. ;-)
Thanks for listening.
Kind regards,
Ralf
